Thesis paper on New Work and the impact on vocational training in development cooperation
October – November 2018
Konnektiv was commissioned by the GIZ to develop a thesis paper on “New Work” and digitalisation, a current topic of great importance for the further development of technical vocational education and training (TVET) in German development cooperation. The paper focused on how the processes of work and employment in developing countries are changing and on how these changes impact TVET systems. The paper was presented by Melanie Stilz in November 2018 and was discussed with representatives of research, politics, business and development cooperation, focusing on new insights for the future development of TVET in development cooperation.
The thesis paper New work and its impacts on vocational education and training in German development cooperation is available here.
