René Schodder (Herlitz)

René has been advising on activities at the intersection between technology, education, and development cooperation in various countries and contexts since 2004.

He studied computer science with a focus on ICT in education and society as well as geography with a focus on development studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Universidad de La Habana. Before co-founding Konnektiv, René worked at the Centre for International and Intercultural Communication (ZiiK) of the Technical University of Berlin and was responsible for the establishment and supervision of a Master’s program in computer science for lecturers from six Afghan partner universities among other projects. At TU Berlin he was also a lecturer for databases and information systems as well as computer science in developing contexts. These experiences form the basis of the trainings René is conducting for Konnektiv.

At Konnektiv René is mainly consulting on ICT projects for various organizations in international development and leading the technical development of our software projects.
