Joining the team in 2016, Zoe oversees the day-to-day operations at Konnektiv, managing all internal projects, strategic development strategies, and finances. She researches new potential national and international projects and partners in the field of international development cooperation, prepares proposals, and assists on and leads newly acquired projects. She also coordinates with our network of project-based freelancers, overseeing the management of various projects.
Zoe brings with her a background in nonprofit operations and project management. Before coming to Konnektiv, Zoe worked at the Stiftung Neue Verantwortung, a Berlin-based think-tank that looks at the impact of technological change on society. Her position focused on finance and grant management as well as coordination of the Fellow and Associate Programs. Before that she worked for three years as a Program Officer at Cultural Vistas in New York on the U.S. Department of State funded CBYX program and is a strong advocate for international exchange. During her time in New York, she also volunteered and lead literacy initiatives through New York Cares, an organization that aims to take action against social issues in the city. Zoe has spent time in Tanzania working as a Project Coordinator at Art in Tanzania, interning at the Salama Community Center, and volunteering with community based initiatives. During her studies she also completed an internship at Better Future International in New York.
Zoe studied English Linguistics and African Languages and Cultures at the University of Hamburg.
