Marianna Malaspina

Operations

Marianna joined the team at the beginning of 2023. Based in Berlin, she supports the leading team in acquisition, administration, and office management.

Marianna brings with her an entrepreneurial background including sales and financial control which she developed over more than two decades in New York first at La Perla Fashions Inc. and with her own small business. She moved to Berlin from the USA in 2012 where after a couple of off-ramping years raising her daughter, she joined OneShore Energy GmbH as a team and finance assistant. Subsequently, she worked for other start-ups active in the sustainable energy or in the IT industries, including Wermuth Asset Management GmbH, Copytrack GmbH and Booster Space Events und Consulting GmbH. Her positions focused on preparatory accounting, office management, and team support.

In New York, she held the foster parent certification and volunteered as a foster parent for three years, working with Lutheran Social Services.

Marianna studied Business Administration at the Bologna University and later earned an MBA with focus on Finance at Fordham Business School (now Gabelli Business School) in New York. She loves paintings, fiction books and chocolate, not necessarily in that order.
